Redistricting Commission Town Hall

The Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission released final drafts of Kent County's State Senate districts and is preparing final drafts for its State House districts. These maps are straight out of the progressive left's playbook and allow the Democrats the opportunity to win a majority of our county's State Legislature seats. We CANNOT let this happen!
We need your help, so here's what you can do:
1. SUBMIT WRITTEN COMMENT: Drop the commission a note in the public portal letting them know you are opposed to proposed maps and why. CLICK HERE to submit a written comment.
2. SUBMIT DRAFTS OF MAPS: The Democrats are doing it, so must we! Submit your own community of interest, State Senate, and State House maps for Kent County. CLICK HERE to submit maps.
3. SHOW UP AND USE YOUR VOICE!: After you submit your various comments on the public portal, show up to the Commission's public town hall hearing on October 18th at the DeVos Place and speak during public comment. The final maps the Commission approves will be the districts for the next decade. We need YOU to stand up and voice your opinion that the Commission creates fair maps. This is the first big fight of the 2022 election cycle, join us TODAY! If you are willing to speak at the Commission's meeting, please RSVP on this website our office will follow-up with you.
