Welcome to Michigan's 3rd Congressional
District. If you live in Kent County, Ionia County or the Northern
portion of Barry County you are a resident of the most dynamic and
productive congressional district in the nation. The 3rd District
has a rich and rewarding heritage of producing leaders for West
Michigan, the state and nation. President Gerald R. Ford, Ambassador
Peter Secchia, Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus, former U.S Senator the
late Arthur H. Vandenberg, former U.S. Congressman the late Paul
Henry, Congressman Vern Ehlers, Former State Party Chair Betsy DeVos,
State Party Secretary Hank Fuhs, plus many outstanding State Senators
and State Representatives.
Our 3rd District Congressman, the Honorable Vern Ehlers, has served
us in Congress since 1993. One of the primary functions of the
3rd
District Executive Committee is the re-election of our Congressman.
In addition, the committee is involved with communications, socialization
and Party building with the members of the 3rd District. |
